Xu Dingping, Manager of Business Division Two, is widely recognized for rich business experience, earnestness, strong sense of responsibility and meticulous work style. He took charge of the division amid difficulties and rose to the challenge. From management practice, he concluded that new employees should be equipped to handle emergencies, and managers should avoid being a trouble‑shooter putting out fires everywhere. In his view, middle‑level managers act as a buffer between senior leadership and sales staff. They shall help employees overcome human weaknesses, push salespeople toward targets, and foster a competitive and supportive atmosphere for continuous improvement. He also stressed developing female employees and paying attention to differences between male and female salespeople.

Shi Ying, Team Leader of Business Division Three, who is expecting her second child, still works on the front‑line of sales and sets a good example for teammates. She holds that a qualified manager must first excel personally, keep learning to become an all‑round talent with solid professional knowledge and practical experience. Managers should be willing to share knowledge, motivate team members, identify and assign proper roles to talents, and pass on know‑how through words and deeds in business guidance. Accordingly, managers need to develop core competencies including decision‑making, organization, communication, motivation and personal charisma.

The course on managers’ role awareness has come to a temporary close, yet Pangshi’s in‑house management training will go on. Upcoming courses will cover team building, staff recruitment & development, team motivation and more. Stay tuned!
