On December 11, 2020, Pangshi Chemical held its final business‑sharing session. The speakers were Zhu Beilei from the Five‑Blessings Team and Liu Lu from the Riding‑the‑Winds‑and‑Waves Team, whose topics were “Mistakes I Have Made over the Years” and “Psychology of Negotiation” respectively. This session marked the grand finale of the 2020 Business‑Sharing PK Contest. After the previous four rounds, the score stood at 2‑2 between the two teams, which brought the contest down to the decisive fifth round.

Zhu Beilei from the Five‑Blessings Team delivered her speech titled “Mistakes I Have Made over the Years”. Starting from real‑life failure cases, she elaborated on relevant scenarios and countermeasures from multiple dimensions including case background, email correspondence, problematic links and final outcomes. She drew lessons from her own missteps to warn and remind her colleagues.

The next speaker was Liu Lu from the Riding‑the‑Winds‑and‑Waves Team. She had been a business‑sharing lecturer back in 2019. Her topic this time was “Psychology of Negotiation”. Foreign‑trade work involves numerous negotiation scenarios, whether with manufacturers or clients. Combining theory with practice, she gave a lively and humorous presentation covering pre‑negotiation preparation, opponent analysis, information delivery and influencing others.

After fierce competition, Zhu Beilei from the Five‑Blessings Team took the lead in votes and claimed individual victory for this round.

With the closing of this sharing session, the final PK result between the two teams was unveiled. The Five‑Blessings Team secured overall team victory by a one‑point margin. The award ceremony would be arranged at the 2020 year‑end summary conference.

The 2020 business‑sharing PK contest thus came to a full end. 2020 marked Pangshi Chemical’s first attempt to adopt the lecturer PK mechanism. Throughout the year, we enjoyed speeches from lecturers of diverse styles covering a wide range of themes. More than winning or losing, what truly matters are those devoted speakers whose hard‑work brought valuable insights to all of us. We will set off again in 2021 and bring more wonderful sharing sessions for all colleagues.
